Beschreibung: Hamburg has more than 6,000 digital sensors spread across the city. They collect a wide range of data types: from the levels of pollution to the use of the bike sharing system. However, which uses can be made of this vast troves of data in urban planning and design? This workshop will navigate students through the urban data platform and the recently developed DCS data cockpit, and the basics of quantitative data analysis and visualization tools. This workshop was offered in the last semester by DCS and we will use a specific system developed specifically for this teaching activity.
