Beschreibung: In the course, we will explorecurrent and future challenges in the context of digital“smart” cities. The research projects carried of the chairof Digital City Science at HCU will give a backdrop andstarting point. From an inter- and transdisciplinaryperspective we will look into how data-driven tools forurban analysis and design can be designed and developed,and what opportunities open up for their meaningfulapplication for worldwide urbanization challenges. Thecourse is composed of impulse talks, project discussionsand interactive group formats. As final work, participantscan create either digital product or tool („mockup“), orwrite a scientific paper or proposal.
