Die Lehrveranstaltung vertieft die Modellierung von Rasterdaten zum Einsatz in Geographischen Informationssystemen:
Modellierung von Rasterdaten (Grundsätze der Rasterdaten-Modellierung; Ordnungsstrukturen; Konzeptionelles Modell des Cartographic Modeling), Konzept der Map Algebra (Primitive im Rastermodell; Rasterbasierte Operationen).
